A Launceston-based cheerleading squad had a very successful first state cheerleading competition on Saturday.
Odin, the Open All Star Senior Cheer Squad, took our first place and also the Grand Champions title at the Infinite Spirit All Star Cheerleading Competition.
All Star Cheer and Dance Tasmania co-owner Dee Gillen, speaking from the Hobart-based competition, said the team was “beyond proud”.
“All incredible results so far in both dance and cheerleading solo and duos,” Gillen said.
“Lots of first and second places with nearly all kids entered placing.”
