The co-founder of the Van Diemen Project was the only Australian chosen for ‘Changemakers: The Impact of Social Entrepreneurs in the US’, for which he will spend three weeks visiting different regions of the US to learn more about how entrepreneurs are creating social change in their own communities.
Speaking before his departure on Thursday, Mr Mostogl expected the trip to have benefits that went beyond its three-week duration.
“This is an exciting opportunity, and I cannot wait to experience everything is planned for the group,” he said.
“While I recognise a few names on the list of organisations we will meet and hear from, I know there are countless of organisations doing great things in the US and I look forward to gathering as much information as possible to share when I return to benefit Tasmania.”
