The Break O’Day Stitchers donated $2500 to the charity two weeks ago.
Club secretary Sue Courtis said an annual quilt exhibition raffle raised the money.
The cheque was presented to the flying doctor service on August 18 at the club’s annual presentation morning tea.
“This is the day the group presents the proceeds of the previous year’s fundraising to several local community groups,” Ms Courtis said.
The St Helens Community Car Service received $250 and as did the Tasmanian Lymphoedma Clinic.
The stitching team has already started fundraising for next year’s program.
