Representatives form Royal Park, St Leonards, East Launceston and Latrobe took part in the competition at the Northern Tasmanian Croquet Centre.
Almost perfect conditions made for an entertaining and enjoyable contest which began on Sunday and concluded on Monday.
The pairs were selected on a ranking system meaning that most players were paired with someone from a different club, a popular process according to Croquet Tasmania Northern promotions officer Lee Turner.
Undefeated St Leonards clubmates Tait and Blyth won with seven wins. Pat Traill, of Royal Park, and Paul Boer, of East Launceston, were second with five wins along with Gina Kirkland, of Latrobe, and Bonnie Claxton, of St Leonards, who had lower net hoop scores.
The next competition at the Northern Tasmanian centre is the golf croquet doubles in September.
