After Darren Banham snapped a goal through to put the Robins 20 points up in the opening stages of the third term, the Demons kicked the next eight goals in a superb display to eventually win 13.7 (85) to 8.14 (62).
Following a slow start to the season, Latrobe have won three of its last four games with confidence-boosting wins against Penguin and now Ulverstone in the run home.
The Robins on the other hand have now lost their last two games entering the finals series, leaving coach Jamie Hayward searching for answers.

Led by seven goals from Jye Gardam, the Cats were never troubled and ran out 18.13 (121) to 7.5 (47) victors against a Giants side who are limping into the finals.
Small forward Brody Denehey kicked another two goals to take his tally to 58 for 2017 and wrap up the NWFL’s goalkicking award in his first season.
EAST DEVONPORT have condemned city rivals Devonport to the wooden spoon for the season with a 25-point win at Girdlestone Park.
The match became a shootout between the respective veteran full forwards with the Swans Nick Milbourne (7 goals) and Magpies Phillip Crowden (8 goals) winding back the clock.
East Devonport were in control for the majority of the game, but had to withstand a comeback from the visitors in the final quarter.
Next week’s games will see Ulverstone host Penguin in Saturday’s qualifying final while Circular Head travel to Latrobe for the elimination final on Sunday.
