After putting on similar events on the mainland, event organiser Leif van den Dungen came from Melbourne to share his love of vinyl with Tasmania.
“People can come and buy records, and people can come and play their records,” Mr van den Dungen said. “It’s been really successful. We’re going to come back a couple of times a year for sure.”
The fair will be moving on to Hobart next, with Mr van den Dungen hoping to spread his message further.
“Vinyl has come back and it’s here to stay. The more people playing that analogue format, the better,” he said.
