The winning bid of $1350 will help boost the total amount raised to just shy of the $50,000 goal.
Photographer Scott Gelston, who donated the print, said he was “extremely happy” to have contributed to the appeal.
“I'm grateful that the funds raised from this piece will help those in need in our Northern Tasmanian community,” Gelston said.
“Winter relief is vitally important to those in need across Northern Tasmania.
“Dealing with heating bills during winter can be enough to cripple one’s bank account, so any assistance, be it financial or food or via volunteering your time, can only make life easier for those less fortunate in the region.”
Money raised goes to the Salvation Army, the Launceston Benevolent Society, the St Vincent de Paul Society and City Mission.
The appeal ends on August 31.
