Ashgrove’s Tasmanian jalapeno havarti was awarded the most innovative product at the 2017 Dairy Industry Association of Australia Show in New South Wales.

The 200g cheese, which is produced at Elizabeth Town, was the judge’s choice for innovation, Ashgrove marketing manager Anne Bennett said.
“This is the first time Ashgrove has been awarded a product innovation award, which is great and quite timely as our cheese factory expansion is well under way,” Ms Bennett said.
Ashgrove won gold and silver awards at the show.
Gold:
- Jalapeno infused havarti
- Bacon infused havarti
- Emporium smoked cheddar
- Emporium bush pepper.
Silver:
- Farmhouse butter
- Herb & garlic butter
- Full cream milk
- Non homogenised milk
- Farm light milk
- Vintage cheddar
- Rubicon red cheese
- Traditional fetta.
