Held in Tasmania for the first time since 2012, the Entally Lodge show attracted judges from the US and Thailand and is expected to draw a crowd of up to 3000 over the weekend.
“It’s the biggest one in Australia so we’ve got about 200 cats on show here today - they’ll all be judged in six different rings by 10 different judges,” event manager Sue Dibella said.
“They get so many points for good ear placement, eye colour, length of body, coat and they add them all up and the judges pick the best one.”
The show continues on Sunday.
