TFS Fuel Reduction Unit planning manager Rochelle Richards and State Operations district officer Neil Brooksbank will assist in battling the blaze for the next 42 days.
Ms Richards will serve as a fire behaviour analyst, while Mr Brooksbank will act as an incident controller.
It will mark the first time Ms Richards has been overseas as a TFS representative.
She said she had trained with incident management teams on the mainland.
TFS chief officer Chris Arnol said this was an “exciting opportunity” for the TFS.
He said Ms Richards and Mr Brooksbank would “grow” as a result.
Emergency Management Minister Rene Hidding thanked Ms Richards and Mr Brooksbank for offering their services.
“It’s a great commitment by our two fire specialists,” he said.
“We hope they stay safe and do a great job there assisting our Canadian friends.”
