ACT has sought revenge on Tasmania from back-to-back men’s clashes in Wollongong at the Australian under-21 hockey championships.

Tassie had secured a 2-1 win only on Thursday, its second of the tournament.

But the Canberrans bounced back for a 2-1 reversal victory in the classification playoff for fifth and sixth.

Keegan Popowski had put Tasmania on the board in the 13th minute before the ACT strike twice in nine minutes just before half-time.

Jemma Kenworthy put the Tasmanian women a goal up inside just four minutes against Northern Territory.

But Tassie had to settle for a 1-1 draw after the Territorians equalised just before half-time.
