The release of the Screen Tasmania Strategic Plan comes at a time when production is booming in the state, with the TV series Rosehaven and The Kettering Incident winning acclaim.
The plan key aims are to further production, creativity and innovation throughout the industry, to foster the screen community and to promote best practice.
Screen Tasmania executive manager Alex Sangston said the body wanted the success enjoyed by the state’s screen industry to be “sustainable”.
“We’re focused on building a sustainable production sector [and] developing Tasmanian talent so they can tell their stories,” he said.
