With another cat show, of course.
Such will be the the Cat Control Council of Tasmania’s course of action on Sunday when it holds a fundraising show in preparation for the Cat Control Council of Australia’s national show late next month.
The two-day national show will feature international breeders, judges, and hundreds of cats, but in the meantime, Just Cats Tasmania director Rachel Beech has encouraged cat lovers to make Sunday’s fundraising show at Evandale Memorial Hall their first port of call.
“We don’t just have pedigree cats, we also have domestic cats in show as well, so it’s a really good way of people having a look and see if it’s something they want to do,” Mrs Beech said.
“They might have a gorgeous moggy at home they want to start showing, and this might be a good way to see if it’s their cup of tea.”
The fundraising show will run from 10am to 3pm. Entry is $2 or $5 for a family.
