Emma Nightingale and Samantha Sullivan were presented with their scholarships by Tasmanian Women in Agriculture and Tasmanian Alkaloids at Agfest.
Vice chairwoman, and previous scholarship recipient, Ashley Evans said the opportunity was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“We want to encourage women to grasp any roles they want,” Ms Evans said.
“You’ll come back with inspiring ideas and ready to go for it,” she said.
Costa Berry Exchange employee Ms Nightingale said she was looking forward to developing her leadership skills after finishing her degree.
“I was ready for the next step,” Ms Nightingale said.
Ms Sullivan, who works at TP Jones in Youngtown, said she saw it as an amazing opportunity.
“Thank you for believing what I’m doing in agriculture,” Ms Sullivan said to the committee.
