Rocherlea hosted its first night game of the year against Evandale in front of an impressive crowd on Friday.
Evandale won by 60 points with Emily Mckinnell kicking four last-quarter goals in a best on ground display as Phoebe Barnett added a couple and Courtney Sharman and Kartley Broad stood out.
For Rocherlea, Madeline Howe, Angela Dickson Sophie Johnson played great games with Kerryn Thurlow their goal-kicker.
In front of another large Friday night crowd, Scottsdale recorded a dominant 54-point home win over Prospect.
Best on ground Letitia Johnston kicked four goals for the victors with singles to Kimberley Hall, Jessica Cairns, Bonnie Lade and Crystal Bowerman. Keeley Lester and Dearne Taylor provided great support. Taneil Bloomfield, Megan Grice and Grace Andrea battled hard for the visitors.
