The 31-year-old West Australian added to his impressive resume with a fourth place finish in the opening round of the series in Rotorua last month.
Hill is a two-time junior and three-time senior downhill mountain bike world champion who switched to enduro racing last year, finishing second in Ireland and claiming his maiden round win in Valberg-Guillaumes, France.
Hill has been competing in seniors since 2004 and also won the 2007 and 2009 UCI elite men's downhill world cup. He will headline a strong contingent of Australians including Jared Graves, Ben Forbes and Chris Panozzo taking on the world’s best in Derby. Kiwi Wyn Masters won the opening round on home soil and has been busy practising on Australian soil for the event.
