General manager David Bowen said the aim of junior comp was to have competitive games with seeding rounds to ensure teams are placed in appropriate divisions.
The Launceston senior season is off to a great start with Japara top of the table in women’s div 1 after three games followed closely by Trojans. The Devils are in third and the new Saints team and City are yet to see the winner’s podium. In the men's competition, the Devils are leading the way with three wins, the City Rockets, Rebels and Trojans sitting on two wins a piece and Japara and the City Lions yet to post a win.
Division one tips off at 6.05pm on Wednesdays and division two Thursdays from 6pm. “There are a record number of team entries this year and a great level of competition with players from all over the state taking part.”
