Launceston Kart Club members took home wins in seven of the 12 classes on offer at the second round of the Series held at the North Western Kart Club.
Young cadet 12 driver Toby Callow clean swept his races with a dominating display of driving with fellow LKC member Emilie Williams third.
Lochie Dalton had a similar weekend when he won all four races in KA4 junior heavy.
In the senior classes, the LKC members also showed that the club is producing the goods with victories going to Ellis Dickenson in KA3 senior light, Kurtis Love in KA3 senior heavy, Freddy Cocca in KA4 masters and Alastair Lee and Troy Stone taking victory in the TaG open classes of light and heavy respectively.
Launceston president Stuart Lee confirmed that, in all, 13 members stood on the podium over the weekend, and in KA3 senior heavy the club claimed the trifecta with Love, Jackson Callow (second) and Murray Dadson (third) filling the placings.
Lee was delighted with the results, saying he was proud to see so many new winners emerging from the club, suggesting a healthy next generation of drivers on the cards at Archerville.
“It was a real pleasure to see young Emilie Williams stand on the podium for the first time,” he said.
“The grin on her face was great to see and the future of the club is very promising with drivers like Emilie.”
Launceston Kart Club’s next meeting at Archerville will be held on Sunday, March 19, which will be the TaG 125 open feature.
