Tasmania Police confirmed on Sunday morning that Launceston man Patrick O’Neill, who went missing on Wednesday, February 22, has been found dead.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
32-year-old Patrick Gerard O’Neill was last seen on Charles Street in Launceston on Wednesday evening.
Mr O’Neill was described as having light-coloured, shoulder-length dreadlocks and two tattoos including a cross on his left forearm.
He was wearing jeans and his black motorcycle jacket, and was riding his motorbike at the time of the last sighting.
The motor bike was later located at a Myrtle Creek Road address but the search for Mr O’Neill continued until Sunday.
Police said they located Mr O’Neill late Saturday evening.
Police thanked the general public for their support and assistance during the search.
