The excited screams of “help us” echoed through the maize maze at Rupertswood Farm’s opening weekend on Sunday. More than 300 people took on the challenge on Saturday alone and “really enjoyed it”, owner Anna Clark said.

“The maze was absolutely full,” Mrs Clark said. “The feedback was that because the maze is so incredibly massive it was a good idea to take a map.”
The aim of the maze is to unscramble a word about Tasmania to win a prize.
“Once people do the maze they can go down to the veggie patch and pick their own veggies. People were just cleaning it out (on Saturday),” She said.
The maze is open each weekend until the middle of March and takes about an hour.
