UPDATE 3.30pm:
Police and emergency services remain at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Esk Main Road, Fingal.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been deployed to the crash site.
The Examiner understands there are serious injuries as a result of the crash.
About 2pm on Monday, Tasmania Police reported a crash between a truck and a motorcycle on the Avoca side of Fingal.
The west-bound lanes are closed to traffic. Tasmania Police is advising motorists avoid the area until further notice.
Police are expected to address the media at 4.30pm.

The west-bound lanes are currently blocked. Police are advising motorists avoid the area as road closures are expected to cause delays.
The Crash is on the Avoca side of Fingal.
