A 62-year-old German man who collapsed on a walking track waited two days before he was found.

The man was located by a group of walker’s on the South Coast Track near Cox Bight on Thursday.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter winched the man to safety and he was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
“Tasmania Police would like to remind people embarking on bushwalks in Tasmania to carry some means of communication whether that be a PLB, satellite phone or both,” police said.
