The Crows’ finals chances finals are over because of the rich vein of form of Peter Fulton with bat and ball, the batting of Jeremy Jones and Nicky Stubbs, and the bowling of Brad Green, Adam Haywood and Kurt Wheldon.
Nathan Page and Ben Bott tried hard for the Crows.
Turners Beach forfeited top spot on the ladder losing their home game to Forth by 75 runs.
The Magpies batted first and opening batsmen, Trent Murray and Ethan Miles scored 40s giving them a great start.
Brody Horton’s four wickets were the highlight for the Beach.
The Seagulls collapsed with batsmen making it into the 20s.
The Forth bowlers shared the wickets.
In the final game, Mersey Colts batte first against the Don Steamers and were 7/49 before Ben Foote and Liam Clark added 68 valuable runs but they were all out for 118.
Brady Stubbs destroyed the Colts’ top order with four wickets.
Don fared even worse with only Brett Collins and Brett Crowden reaching double figures. Five batsmen failed to trouble the scorers. Jamie Aherne was the star with 6/19 from his 10 overs.
