A Tasmanian woman will likely need to reassess her New Year's resolutions after winning more than $1.3 million in the New Year's Eve Tattslotto megadraw.

The lucky winner purchased her ticket from the New Town Plaza Newsagency in Hobart and was one of 23 division one winners across the country to share in a pool of $31 million.
The woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, said she was relaxing at home when the news came through.
“We were at home just casually and quietly watching television when I looked up the numbers online and suddenly had to check the ticket about 60 times,” she said.
“I was convinced we’d done it wrong, I couldn’t believe it.”
The woman said she had already begun planning what to do with the newfound fortune.
“I think we might get a new car, help our kids with their mortgages, help out with some school fees and let us do a bit of travelling too.
"We can cross a few things off the bucket list once we come up with one.”
