The Tasmanian country musician will perform at the Legerwood Hall event for the 10th consecutive year later this month and says there’s nowhere else he’d rather spend the final hours of 2016.
“I haven't been keeping count but it would be the 10th year easy – I even flew back from Gold Coast one year for it,” Davis said.
“It's a great event and it’s getting bigger and bigger every year.”
Hosted by the Legerwood Catering Group, the event will again feature its famous New Year’s supper and will see Davis joined on stage by dad Noel and Daryl Fisher.
Funds raised at the event will again be donated to charity.
“It goes to the Legerwood community group there, last year they gave it to a young girl in a wheelchair who needed some bits and pieces and they just help out everybody.
“If anyone’s in need they always help out.”
Admission is $10 per person and includes raffles and supper.
The event kicks off at 8pm.
