The students of TasTAFE Drysdale will receive mentoring from three leading international chefs, as the school’s popular training program, the Great Chef Series returns in 2017.

TasTAFE will welcome French chef Alain Passard, the US’s Dominique Crenn, and Danish chef Christian Puglisi.
From March and April, the chefs will impart their knowledge in a series of degustation dinners showcasing Tasmanian produce.
Mr Passard will be based in Launceston for eight days, where he and his sous chefs from restaurant Arpege will deliver a five course lunch on Wednesday, March 29, at Josef Chromy Winery.
This will be followed by a ten course degustation dinner on Saturday, April 1, at TasTAFE Drysdale.
The other two chefs will offer ten course degustation dinners, with Ms Crenn partnering with Goaty Hill Winery on Saturday, April 8, and Mr Puglisi with Tamar Ridge Winery on Wednesday, April 12.
