The Sydney band will co-headline the massive festival, playing alongside hip hop duo Hermitude.
The festival announced its full line-up on Friday, which is set to include The Smith Street Band, Boo Seeka, The Bennies, KLP, Tash Sultana, Vera Blue, Montaigne, Remi, and Luca Brasi.
Just hours after Party in the Paddock’s organisers announced the line-up, music fans from across Australia were showing their love for the festival.
Founder Jesse Higgs said it was exciting to see that the festival, which started as a few gigs in a dusty paddock in 2012, had become so popular with both local and national fans.
“One of the best things we’ve heard today was Triple J’s reaction to Party in the Paddock when they said it was one of Tassie’s best line-ups for 2017,” he said.
“Next year is really going to be a culmination of some of our favourite bands from years gone past and some of the best acts that we’ve wanted to get and then some emerging acts.
“We’ve been fans of Hermitude for 10 years so to have them as co-headliners with Sticky Fingers is massive for us.”
Higgs said it was surreal to think how much the festival has changed in the past five years.
“There’s been a lot of hard work and sacrifice to actually get it to this point, but at the same time you're still doing it with your best mates,” he said.

“Pretty much everyone who was there in the beginning is still involved now and that’s a really nice feeling.”
The full line-up includes Opiuo, Kim Churchill, Sampa the Great, Skegss, Lyall Moloney, The Vanns, Trophy Eyes, The Pretty Littles, Gold Member, Planet, Guthrie, Sheriff, Denni, Chase City, Elegant Shiva, The Saxons, Sumner, The Bad Dad Orchestra, Banquet, Bad Beef, Isla Ka, The Sleepyheads, Sundaze and Sofala.
The festival will continue to support beyondblue in 2017, with $1 from every ticket sold going to the mental health awareness organisation.
Party in the Paddock will be held at Burns Creek from February 10 to 12, 2017.
