The winners of the Contribution to the Health and Wellbeing of Children award were Family Day Care educator Jecelle Lovell and the Karinya Young Mums 'n Bubs Program.
The winners of the certificates of recognition for work undertaken for children in the Launceston community were Active Launceston and Rachel Lucas from the Children and Young Person Program for family violence.
Launceston Mayor Albert van Zetten thanked everyone in the community who worked tirelessly to help children achieve the most out of life.
"Your dedication and contribution to the needs, welfare and interests of children is outstanding and we thank you for your efforts,” he said.
Playgroup Tasmania chief executive Jacinda Armstrong was at the awards and commended Active Launceston and Ms Lucas on their contributions to the well-being of children.
