In strong winds, the 45-kilometre handicap saw a strong bunch of middle markers hold off the chasing back men by a minute. In the sprint for fastest time, Harrison Musgrave won A grade and Ainsleigh Gray took B. Ride of the day went to Caitlyn Turner and Amy Wright in their first open road race.

Northern vets
A field of 45 Northern Vets took on the 48km graded mass start form Carrick via Westwood.
Aaron Dunn pipped Andy Wells in A grade while Scott Murchison won B from Alister Woodrooffe and Ricky Allen. C-grade reeled in Pete Booth allowing Simon Donovan to win from Doug Blackaby and Scott Watson, Brendan Spurr took D from Nick Lawrence and Michelle Dabner, Alex Robinson claimed E from Nigel Aylott while Bob Mason and Jeff Garwood won F and G.
