Throughout October Entally Lodge will host a series of weekend markets to encourage people to visit the Meander Valley.
Entally Lodge marketing manager Samantha Lees said the market was designed to cater to everyone in the community.
“We’ll have stallholder and we’ve gone for as much uniqueness as we can … we’ll then also have food and wine, and our cafe will be open for the whole period of the market,” she said.
“We’ll have entertainment with a stage and a seating area for people to come and chill out, there’ll be the Retro bar with the big screen for the guys so they can come and have a beer and watch sport on the big screen and let the girls do their thing.”
There will also be a kids zones with a fenced off area which will include games, a bouncing castle, and face painting. The event will also support community groups, and Ms Lees welcomed applications from organisation wishing to fund raise via a barbecue or a charity car wash. The market will have free entry and begins on Saturday, October 8.
