Kicking off with the traditional preview evening on Friday November 4, the exhibition will open to the public the next day before wrapping up on November 7.
Eskleigh Foundation chief executive said the Saturday event would feature paella and Spanish music in the gardens, which would then play host to food vans and buskers on the Sunday.
“What we're trying to do is make it a family event,” Mr Luttrell said.
“The idea is that people can enjoy food and a glass of wine perhaps and then come and have a look at the exhibition.”
Mr Luttrell expected entries for the 23rd exhibition would likely grow to about 200.
“Last year we had 225 and we're hoping to get the same number which will mean that we'll be starting to curate it next week.
“We're getting a good number of sculptures and a good number of entries from around the state as well so it's really good.”
Entries closed on Friday.
