A planning application lodged to the City of Launceston sought permission for BWS signage to be added to the building.
An application to redevelopment the site as a drive through bottle shop was initially approved in January, but the project was slowed after objections over the closure of Quarantine Road during construction.
The store will have a 173-square-metre trading area, 12 car spaces, and a three lane drive-through via Quarantine Road.
The project is being developed by Hotel on Wellington proprietors Peter and Carlton Dixon.
It will bring the total number of BWS bottle shops to seven in the greater Launceston area, not including the stores at Legana and Longford.
Kings Meadows is already home to two other bottle shops, a Cellarbrations liquor outlet at Meadow Mews and a Liquor Stax on Hobart Road.
