Students from Port Dalrymple School, South George Town Primary School and Star of the Sea College planted several trees at the Bridport Road planting site, including White Gums and Swamp Paperbarks.
Bell Bay Aluminium community relations specialist Lou Clark said students learned about threatened plant ecosystems as well as proper planting practice.
Over the past six years, the organisation has planted in excess of 25,000 trees with the assistance of local school students in the Launceston and Tamar Valley region.
