The show is in its fourth year and brings together Tasmanian outdoor leisure and activities businesses, with a smattering of national exhibitors thrown in as well.
Everyone from fishers to divers to sailors will find something to tickle their fancy along with the usual four wheel drive, caravanning and boating offerings.
Tasmanian Outdoor Boat and Caravan Show co-organiser Ken Gourlay said the show is well received by the community.
“They really wanted the show … the reception, you know 10,000 people every year coming through has been well received,” he said.
The show is the primary fundraiser for the Tamar Yacht Club’s junior training programs, going towards equipment and running costs. The club is considering purchasing a larger keel boat with this year’s money.
The show is on from Friday, September 9 all weekend at the Silverdome.
