Not guilty plea over drug bust
A 38-year-old man has pleaded not guilty after he was allegedly caught at a Launceston hotel with $100,000 of ice.

Simon Mark Ratcliffe appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face charges of major drug trafficking.
Defence counsel Grant Tucker, who represented Mr Ratcliffe, pleaded not guilty to all charges on his client’s behalf.
Mr Ratcliffe was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear in the Launceston Supreme Court on November 14.
