The ‘Super-Me’ web series follows their journey to finding out if an average person has the ability to become a “real life superhero”.
With Mr Spohn behind the camera and Mr Crates as host, the episodes show the pair testing out every aspect of being a superhero.
“Each episode follows us trialling all different things, like how fit do you need to be a superhero,” Mr Crates said.
The filmmakers said they have tried out martial arts, a Batman inspired fitness regime and tested out their own suit of armor as part of the show.
“At the end of the day, we’re not doing this to be able to go out there and beat up people who are committing crimes, ultimately it’s about helping people,” Mr Spohn said.
So far they have filmed six episodes with two ready for viewing.
The series will be online in November, but the duo will premiere an episode at MAICon on Saturday.
