The much-anticipated reconstruction of the Grants Lagoon pedestrian bridge was completed late last month, connecting the Binalong Bay coastal walking track between the beach and Main Road opposite Binalong Bungalows.
The treated pine bridge has proved a popular addition to the landscape for many residents, with Tasmania Parks and Wildlife reporting a plethora of positive community feedback since the bridge’s opening.
Seven Mile Beach diving and marine contractor ASD Diving was responsible for delivering the $75,000 project after winning the tender in April.
