Summerhill Scout Group members always keep a vigilant lookout but this time they’re hunting for something quite specific - a new cub leader.

The group is searching for a dedicated person from the wider Summerhill community to take on the role of training up 8 to 10-year-olds through to scouthood.
“At the present point in time we don't have a cub leader so we're a bit hamstrung there,” Summerhill scout leader Trevor Parker said.
“At the moment we're using cub leaders from other groups so we need to get new blood coming in.”
Cubs meet at the Summerhill Scout Hut at 5.30pm on Mondays.
