Shaun Andrew Blake and Martin John Mace are jointly accused of one count of assault.
The charge relates to allegations they bashed a woman and kept her inside an Invermay home after becoming convinced that she had stolen a wallet containing $3000.
It is alleged they beat her with a steel cap boot and poured a flammable liquid on her before telling her she was going to die.
Both men have pleaded not guilty.
This week, the jury has heard evidence from the alleged victim Angela Rosette Cuskelly.
She told the court that the alleged assault took place on August 1, into the morning of August 2.
She claimed she managed to free herself from the situation at the house and ran to a service station for safety.
The shop attendant then called police.
Defence lawyers Mark Doyle, who represents Mr Mace, and Dan Coombes, who represents Mr Blake, have denied their client took part in the alleged crime.
The trial heard evidence from a police officer, and an Invermay McDonald's staff member among others.
It also saw CCTV footage of Ms Cuskelly at the McDonald’s drive-through in the early hours of August 2.
During her evidence, Ms Cuskelly said she had driven the pair around Launceston earlier that day “running errands”.
But said she barely knew either man.
