Plans to make the annual Tasmanian Craft Fair at Deloraine even better are in motion according to event director Tim Biggs.

The Rotarian said organisers would host more entertainment options and have a special focus on involving children in the fair, along with a number of other new options.
“We had a brainstorming immediately after the craft fair to look at what our options would be and what we might change, so it’s a long process,” he said.
“It’s not quite certain yet, but we hope to have a collaboration with the UTAS Architecture and Design department to create what I’m calling a portal which will be some sort of structure that the very talented students will come up with.
“It will just be something that will be a little bit whimsical I hope, and something that people can see and know that they are now in the spirit of the craft fair.”
The event will be held from November 4 to 7 at various locations across Deloraine.
