The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he’s still waiting to wake up from a TattsLotto dream after winning division one in the weekend’s draw with a 36-game QuickPick from Racecourse News & Bookshop.
Staff members Tina Manshanden and Donna Arnold said they were over the moon for the customer.
“We’re all so excited! It’s fantastic news for Launceston and a dream for our winning customer!” Ms Manshanden said.
Ms Manshanden said she received a text message from a casual staffer.
“It’s the first one I’ve been involved with as manager of the store but we think Donna’s the one with the lucky touch who sold the winning ticket this time.”
“We’re hoping our luck will rub off on more of our customers soon – maybe even in Tuesday night’s $15 million Oz Lotto draw!”
According to TattsLotto, there were 12 entries that won a first division prize of $339,533.67 in the weekend’s draw.
Along with the winning entry in Launceston, six winning entries were purchased in Victoria, as well as two sold in New South Wales and one each in South Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
