Friday marks SIDS and Kids fundraiser Red Nose Day.
Perth Child Care Centre this week held a fund-raising disco with children like little Albie McCallum wearing his best red clothes – and nose – for the occasion.
Red Nose Day aims to bring attention to the work of SIDS and Kids, whose research and education has seen a drop in the number of sudden and unexpected infant deaths.
The charity also provides bereavement support for families who have experienced sudden or unexpected death in an infant, including stillbirth, SIDS and fatal sleeping accidents.
Money raised through Red Nose Day helps fund SIDS and Kids’ activities.
This year marks the annual event’s 28th anniversary.
People can buy Red Nose Day merchandise, make a donation or host a fund-raiser to support the work of SIDS and Kids. To find out more or to get involved rednoseday.com.au.
