The funding will be announced on Thursday afternoon by Regional Development Minister Fiona Nash and Lyons MHR Eric Hutchinson.
The multi-purpose clubhouse would house change rooms for two teams, umpires and disabled amenities and a 70 seat function centre.
“A brand new multi-purpose clubhouse and conference centre would help the local community to attract more sporting, corporate and government events,” Mr Hutchinson said.
The facility would bring 15 jobs during the construction phase and six permanent jobs upon completion.
The Northern Midlands Council has already pledged $790,000 towards the project.
Mayor David Downie welcomed the Liberal Party’s funding.
“This is very exciting for the people of Campbell Town, and for the Northern Midlands region more generally,” he said.
Comment is being sought from Labor Lyons candidate Brian Mitchell.
