Launceston competitors Danielle Dent, Hannah Mulligan, Jessica Cramp and Rachel Scarborough were accepted into the combined Tasmanian and ACT heat earlier this year, and have since set about preparing three minute routines for the July 1 competition.
Miss Dent said the chance to compete against mainland competitors was a dream come true after taking up the pastime four years ago.
“We've achieved a lot since we've been together already,” Miss Dent said.
“We've been to the mainland twice now and we never expected to get that far, it was just going to be a fun hobby and it's just awesome to see how far we can get.”
Miss Mulligan said national championship spots were won through placed finishes at both the Canberra and the New South Wales heats.
“It'd be cool to progress as far as we can, I'd even be happy just to go to the New South Wales one,” she said.
