Event Manager Marilyn Roach said the official launch in Launceston will be held on Thursday, June 2 at the Town Hall Upstairs Foyer at 10.30am.
“The awards are about acknowledging, recognising and rewarding community minded individuals, groups and business in Tasmania and there’s different categories to nominate for,” she said.
“We're really looking if there is community focus or engagement with the community through whatever their chosen skill or career is.”
Nominations open on Wednesday in the following categories:

⦁ MAIB Disability Achievement Award
⦁ EPA Sustainability Award
⦁ Fonterra Australia Agriculture Award

⦁ Heather & Christopher Chong Outstanding Achiever Award
⦁ Ricoh Business Centre Hobart Environment Award
⦁ Prime Super Community Group of the Year Award
