The B-Doubler Transporter Parade kicked off at Symmons Plains Raceway about 3:15pm on Wednesday.
The trucks were in impressive form with a last minute shine keeping them sparkling through the streets.
Sounds of the monstrous horns flooded Launceston’s city in spectacular fashion.
EARLIER:
Launceston’s streets will roar into action on Wednesday afternoon as the V8 Supercars circus take over the streets with the B-Double Transporter Parade.
The showcase of cars is the first glimpse of the weekend’s Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint.
Fans will be able to get up close and personal with the massive rigs that carry all the V8 Supercars and equipment into Launceston.
The convoy will depart Symmons Plains Raceway at 3:15pm, they will make their way into Launceston via the Midland Highway around 3:40pm, travel down the Southern Outlet into Bathurst Street, then through the city and out along the East Tamar Highway before returning to Symmons Plains via Wellington Street about 4:30pm.
