He and another man were cutting down a large tree on a private property in Back Cam Road at Somerset, about 12.30pm.

It is believed that when the tree was cut down, it caused a nearby large limb to also fall, striking him.

CPR was performed on the man, from Somerset, until emergency services arrived.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
