Australian under-19 representative and Hobart Hurricanes development rookie Fletcher Seymour will captain the side with Tasmanian Tigers rookie and fellow national under-19 representative Caleb Jewell his deputy.
The side also contains Mowbray's Jarrod Freeman who has recently been playing for the Australian under-16 side against Pakistan.
Head coach Darren McNees believes he has assembled a strong side for the championships with four players with Futures League experience in Jewell and Seymour plus Corey Murfet and Brandon King.
"We are hoping Caleb Jewell can continue his good form coming off a Futures League century (against NSW in Coffs Harbour last week). Alec Smith has also been in good form coming off a grade cricket century," McNees said.
"With Jake Doran's selection in the Sheffield Shield team (and therefore not playing at the under-19 championships) we will need more from our batters, however we are confident they are up for the challenge.
"Bowling wise Brandon King has been impressive since his arrival back to Tasmania leading to his Futures League selection and Jarrod Freeman has been bowling well for the Cricket Australia under-16 team against Pakistan.
