Opener Nathan Balym hit 100 last week, while Stuart Brown made 110 and bowler Mitch Edwards picked up the excellent figures of 5-31 in their defeat of Legana.
Balym and Brown put on a partnership of 215 for the second wicket, which ranks second-highest on the club’s all-time, A grade record list.
‘‘I’ve scored four centuries for the club – three in A grade and one in the lower grade,’’ Balym said.
‘‘I enjoyed the century – it was a long time coming and it was good to bat with Stuart, and if I can get runs for the team I am happy with that.’’
Brown, a wicketkeeper-batsman, returned to Trevallyn this season after two years playing at Legana.
‘‘It was really good to spend some time in the middle and get a few out of the middle of the bat against my former club, and it was definitely my best knock in A grade,’’ he said.
‘‘I’ve scored three hundreds – two for Trevallyn and one each in A grade and A reserve and one with Diggers in B grade.’’
Edwards picked up the impressive figures of 5-31 off eight overs and said he was happy with the confidence-boosting haul after a slow start to the year.
‘‘I’ve taken five wickets a couple of times before, but it felt good being at home and getting back into the rhythm,’’ he said.
Edwards has taken more than 100 career wickets for the club and said his best return was 5-20, about three years ago in B grade.
