Tasmanian under-19 skipper Seymour will have the opportunity to train alongside some of the best players and leaders in the world including Kumar Sangakkara and George Bailey and as a bowler will no doubt relish the chance to learn from the likes of experienced paceman Shaun Tait and head coach Damien Wright.
Seymour was a member of the Australian under-19 team who played against England over the winter in the UK, receiving a call up after solid under-17 and under-19 national championships.
Cricket Tasmania high performance manager Shannon Tubb said Seymour's rookie contract was just reward for a teenager who has an outstanding work ethic towards his cricket and has impressed in his physical preparation for this cricket season.
"He is keen to develop his game under the watchful eye of some of the greatest players around the world, Tubb said.
"Fletch is very much looking forward to spending time with Damien Wright and his staff to progress his game to the next level after a successful tour of England with the Australian under 19’s.
"Fletcher has started the season well with Mowbray Cricket Club and will captain the Tasmanian under 19 team this week in Adelaide at the National Under-19 Championships.''
